Aside from the basic details needed to create an SSS online account, you will also be asked to choose your registration preference.

• Savings Account Number / Citibank Cash Card / UBP Quick Card / UMID-ATM Saving Account Number Registered in SSS
• Mobile Number Registered in SSS
• UMID Card
• Employer ID Number/ Household Employer ID Number
• Paid Payment Reference Number / SBR No. / Payment Receipt Transaction Number
• Date of Loan with Existing Loan Balance
• Transaction Number that is shown in your Personal Record / Unified Multi-Purpose ID (UMID) Application (E-1/E-6) (for those who applied online for an SS number from December 10, 2022, onwards)
• Check the Number of any monthly pension of retiree/disability pensioner who is receiving the pension benefit through a check

But if you don’t have an SSS number yet, you can get one by visiting any SSS branch or through your employer if you’re employed.

Steps in Creating an SSS Account Online

Nowadays, most things can be done online. However, It can be a little difficult for some to create a My.SSS account online.

So here are the steps on how to register an SSS account online.

1. Go to the SSS website (www.sss.gov.ph) and click “Click Here” under the “Not yet registered in My.SSS?” section.

2. Click “Register in My.SSS”

3. Read the “Reminders”

4. Certify that you have read and understood the “Reminders” and then click “Proceed”

5. Enter your CRN/SSS number, email address, and preferred user ID

6. Enter your complete name and date

7. Upon entering your date of birth, please confirm by clicking “OK” or click “RETRY” and re-enter the correct date of birth

8. Enter your mailing address and/or foreign mailing address

9. Select one registration preference from the dropdown list

You have 8 options to choose from as your registration information. Additionally, upon choosing one, you have to provide additional information. So here they are.

• Savings Account Number / Citibank Cash Card / UBP Quick Card / UMID – ATM Saving Account Number Registered in SSS
• Mobile Number Registered in SSS
• UMID Card: Enter your 6-digit UMID card PIN code or mother’s maiden name reported in your UMID card application, as applicable.
• Employer ID Number / Household Employer ID Number
• Paid Payment Reference Number / SBR No. /Payment Receipt Transaction Number of any of your contribution payments
• Date of Loan with Existing Loan Balance
• Enter the date of the last loan with the existing loan balance
• Transaction Number that is shown in your Personal Record/UMID Application (E-1/E-6)(for those who applied online for an SS number from December 10, 2020, onwards)
• Check the Number of any monthly pension of retiree/disability pensioner who is receiving the pension benefit through a check

10. Tick the checkbox “I’m not a robot” and click “I accept the terms of service” then click “SUBMIT”

11. Review your entered information and click “CONFIRM” if all information is correct. Click “CANCEL” to edit the entered information

12. Upon submission, click “OK” and check your email for the password setup

13. Go to your email and then click “CLICKING HERE” and you will be directed to the set password page

14. Enter the last 6 digits of your CRN/SS number then click “SUBMIT”

15. Enter your preferred password (8-20 characters), re-enter your preferred password, then click “SUBMIT”

16. After successful password setup, you will be directed to your My.SSS member account
