Over the past few years, Ducati has experienced remarkable success, surpassing all previous records in motorcycle sales. The recent launch of their latest models has been a game-changer, appealing to riders from diverse backgrounds and earning immense popularity. While the first quarter of 2023 demonstrated significant success for Ducati, the first half of the year has been even more exceptional, with the brand achieving its highest sales figures to date.
During the initial six months of 2023, Ducati achieved a remarkable feat by selling a record-breaking 34,976 motorcycles, signifying a notable five percent increase compared to the same period in 2022. This growth was already considered significant in 2022, making the subsequent achievement even more impressive.
Three major markets played a pivotal role in driving Ducati’s success during this period. In Italy, a total of 6,639 bikes were sold, showcasing an impressive growth rate of 10 percent. The US market proved equally influential, with 4,505 units sold and an outstanding growth rate of 11 percent. Additionally, Germany contributed significantly with 4,217 units sold, reflecting a remarkable growth rate of 13 percent during the first half of 2023.
“This first half-year was Ducati’s best ever in terms of deliveries. We reached a record 34,976 bikes delivered, proving that our passionate clients continue to appreciate our product range, which is now wider than ever.”
As previously mentioned, Ducati’s success can largely be attributed to the introduction of their new models, which have brought forth some of the most advanced technology in the world of motorcycles. Consequently, it comes as no surprise that the Multistrada V4 stands out as the most popular model in Ducati’s lineup, achieving an impressive sales figure of 6,382 units in the first half of 2023.
Following closely in second place is the enduring Ducati Monster, with a substantial 4,299 units of this lightweight naked bike delivered during the same period. In third place, we find the widely recognized Scrambler 800 series, which sold 3,581 bikes in the global market, further contributing to the brand’s overall success. Ducati’s strategic overhaul of its model range has undoubtedly resonated with riders, showcasing the brand’s commitment to delivering cutting-edge technology and attracting a diverse and enthusiastic customer base.
