Ducati continues to captivate enthusiasts by introducing stunning new color variations for its models. The Monster model, for instance, showcased a mesmerizing Iceberg White motif, while the SuperSport 950 caught everyone’s attention with its eye-catching Stripe Livery. The Hypermotard 950 RVE added a touch of sleekness and rebellion with its Graffiti Livery Evo.
Now, it’s the Panigale V2’s turn to receive an impressive update, featuring a striking black-on-black color scheme that exudes a sense of boldness and sophistication. Ducati’s commitment to innovative design and aesthetics ensures that each model stands out in its own unique way.
In 2024, Ducati, the renowned Italian motorcycle manufacturer, has unveiled a fresh design option called the ‘Black On Black’ livery for the Panigale V2, replacing the previous ‘Star White Silk’ choice from the previous year. As implied by its name, this new color scheme envelops the sportbike in a stylish dark matte gray coating, complemented by glossy black details and a prominent ‘V2’ logo adorning the fairings. To add a vibrant touch, red lettering is present throughout the bike, along with red pinstripes on the matte wheels, and a new seat completes the updated look.
The Panigale V2, which was introduced in 2021, remains unchanged in terms of its mechanical components. It is equipped with Ducati’s powerful 955cc Superquadro L-twin engine, capable of generating 155 horsepower at 10,750 RPM and 110 Nm of torque at 9,000 RPM. The engine’s output is transferred to the rear wheel through a six-speed gearbox with a bi-directional quickshifter for seamless gear shifts. To enhance the riding experience and ensure safety, the motorcycle comes equipped with a comprehensive array of electronic rider aids. These include various ride modes, power modes, traction control, cornering ABS, wheelie control, and engine brake control, all of which can be accessed and adjusted conveniently through the bike’s TFT instrument cluster.
To provide a stable and responsive ride, the Panigale V2 features an aluminum monocoque chassis. The front suspension consists of 43 mm Showa SFF-BP upside-down forks, while the rear suspension utilizes a fully adjustable Sachs monoshock. These suspension components can be fine-tuned to suit the rider’s preferences and ensure optimal handling. The motorcycle is equipped with 17-inch alloy wheels, which are now fitted with Pirelli Rosso IV Corsa tires to deliver enhanced traction during aggressive cornering maneuvers.
To efficiently control the bike’s speed, the Panigale V2 incorporates two 320 mm front rotors paired with Brembo M4.32 calipers, along with a 245 mm rear disc equipped with a Brembo two-piston caliper. These braking components effectively restrain the power of this 200-kilogram supersport machine, offering precise control and stopping power when needed.
